BOUTIQUE HOPPING AND TRENDY FINDS

Heart of the Matter

Heart of the Matter

These pretty pink bracelets are a global fashion find and perfect for a Valentines Day gift. Each bead is carved out of Tagua Nut (also known as vegetable ivory). The nuts come from the Tagua palm tree, which grows in the rainforests of South America. Each nut is dried for 4-8 weeks, cleaned, and polished. The natural color of Tagua is ivory white, and vegetable dyes are used to add color. The bracelets adjust to wrist size making it great for kids or adults. These lovely Tagua bracelets are $20 each and available locally at Native, 51 Front Street, Scituate. (781) 545-9600, www.shopnativeonline.com
