Best known for their iconic company logo and designs, Life is good founders and eternal optimists Bert and John Jacobs are taking the power of positive thought to new heights. On September 24th and 25th the Boston based company will host a massive two-day music festival fundraiser at Prowse Farm in Canton, aimed at raising $1 million to benefit the Life is good Playmakers, a branch of the Life is good Kids Foundation.
“Children are our greatest inspiration at Life is good. They tend to be more open-minded than adults, and they are the greatest optimists in the world,” says Bert Jacobs, chief executive optimist at Life is good. The unique festival is a massive all-ages event that celebrates life, love, and great music. Over 20 nationally known musical acts will perform, including artists Ray Lamontagne, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Ingrid Michaelson, and Brandi Carlile. The festival will also promote active lifestyles by organizing field games across the 44-acre property. “By focusing on what is good in the world, instead of what’s wrong, we’ve been able to connect with folks,” says Jacobs. With close to a million fans on Facebook, the good vibes are obviously contagious. For more information, visit www.lifeisgood.com
