South Shore Natural Science Center is hosting a “Light Up the Night” EventMay  Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the South Shore Natural Science Center by attending their special ‘Light up the Night” event. The gala celebration party and barn dance will be held in the Center’s new Pavilion, and feature live music, dancing, elegant country cuisine from some of the south shore’s finest caterers and restaurants, and a cash bar.   The evening’s entertainment includes singer/songwriter Kiley Evans, and the Dave Foley Band (there will be line dancing instructions too!) A  VIP reception kicks off the evening at 6pm, with special guests wildlife biologist/TV host Jeff Corwin, and WCVB-TV Chief Meteorologist Harvey Leonard, and includes passed hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails. In addition to the evening’s festivities, the Science Center is also offering chances on a variety of unique prizes (you do not need to attend the party to enter.) Prizes include a tour of WCVB-TV with Chief Meteorologist Harvey Leonard for 10, getaways to Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine, a Farm to Table Cooking Experience at Good Life Kitchen, and more.
