May is National Arthritis Month and communities nationwide are walking to raise awareness of the fight against arthritis, the nation’s most common cause of disability. Join in for the Arthritis Foundation’s annual Arthritis walk at Stephen’s field in Plymouth. People with arthritis wear blue hats to signify their action in taking control of their condition. The event features a three-mile and one-mile course, with arthritis information and activities for the entire family with food, raffles, live entertainment, a DJ and dancing following the walk. In many communities, pet owners are invited to bring their dogs along for the event. No fee to walk. Register online or day of between 10:30 a.m. – 11:45. Walk beings at noon.
