SAVORING THE GOOD LIFE ON CAPE COD

New Raw Bar on the River

New Raw Bar on the River

Yes, we know they’ve got award-winning chowder—thick and creamy and filled with fresh local clams. That said, there’s a new dining deck and raw bar out back of Captain Parker’s where the signature seafood favorite can be enjoyed, along with plenty of other fresh ocean delicacies.

Opening early July on the side of the restaurant facing Parker’s River, there will be a fifteen-seat raw bar set-up for folks to order off a special menu offering local little necks, cherrystones, and oysters on the half shell, along with a list of other regular menu options. Under a partially covered rooftop, the new wraparound deck is spacious enough for parties to dine outdoors and also for those waiting for a table indoors (don’t worry, bar service is available too.) Since the restaurant can get pretty jammed packed in the summertime, this is a perfect way to spread out the crowd and offer diners a cool, coastal atmosphere.
